Saleem Miyan – Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Wavetrend, Saleem was the Vice President and General Manager of Checkpoint Systems Inc, running their global RFID and emerging technologies business. He has worked in the Automatic Identification industry for the past 12 years; prior to joining Checkpoint’s management team he spent six year with Philips Semiconductors, where he served in several key positions in their Identification business (Smartcards, RFID and Near Field Communication). Prior to that, Saleem worked for Ernst & Young in, London and Chicago, where he served as a managing consultant. Saleem has a Masters degree in project management and psychology and a Bachelors degree in software engineering. Saleem has spoken and chaired many worldwide conferences and briefings. In addition to this he has also written many articles and papers on RFID deployment, technology development and emerging new technologies.
