Peter Ward - Vice President, Sales - Europe & Middle East

Peter has been involved in the creation and sale of innovative business solutions for many years and joined Wavetrend as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Europe, Russia and Middle East in March 2007.

Prior to joining Wavetrend, Peter was employed with IBM UK for more than seven years. Peter joined IBM in Business Consulting for Retail industry in UK and after 12 months, he moved to a position in a new Emerging Business Development (EBO) team called Pervasive Computing.  With this team, Peter was a pioneer in the early development of RFID solutions at IBM and subsequently had a number of leading roles in RFID solutions sales across Europe.  Peter was the RFID Sales Lead in the EBO in 2004 for Europe and led the Consumer Driven Supply Chain solutions team for Europe in 2005 before joining another Emerging Business Group for retail and retained his RFID mandate.

Prior to IBM, Peter spent five years with Symbol Technologies (now Motorola) selling solutions and sold the world’s first Consumer Self Scanning solution into Safeway in 1995. His professional experience includes sales in the retail business machines sector prior to joining Symbol Technologies.
