Bonita Read - Director, Sales - Africa & Australia

Prior to joining Wavetrend, Bonita was the Sales Manager, at Intentia in South Africa, a distributor and implementor of the Swedish designed ERP system, MOVEX. She was responsible for identifying business opportunities and growing the company’s market-share in the manufacturing, distribution, aviation and construction industries. Bonita has 19 years of sales and marketing experience, of which 12 have been in the ICT industry.

During her 5 years at Wavetrend, Bonita has developed the sales channel and strategic partner relationships in Africa and Australia to a formidable, experienced and successful network. Her hands-on approach, experience and understanding of the challenges in the market place with an ever developing technology, has resulted in substantial numbers of medium to large-scale active RFID implementations and projects, as well as OEM contracts in the areas of mining, government, vehicle tracking, banking and the corporate environment, opening opportunities for deployments on a global scale.
