Carl Gardner - Vice President, Sales - Asia

Carl Gardner was recently appointed Wavetrend’s Vice President Sales – Asia.  In this new position, Carl has responsibility for growing Wavetrend’s Asia business through our expanding network of Accredited Channel Partners and Strategic Accounts in more than 14 countries and territories throughout the region.  

Carl has more than 20 years experience working in the high-growth, fact-paced Asian markets.  He has held key positions with several market-leading, multinational companies and was instrumental in establishing direct sales operations in emerging markets such as Korea, India, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Wavetrend in early 2007, Carl served as Managing Director for Checkpoint Systems Hong Kong Ltd.  In this role, Carl managed Checkpoint’s Hong Kong and India sales subsidiaries, key international retail accounts and the Asia Channel operations.  Prior to joining Checkpoint in 1997, Carl worked in both the US and Asia for Whirlpool Corporation where he was Managing Director Whirlpool Korea and Sales Director, Asia Pacific distribution. 

Carl holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.  Carl, his wife and two children have lived in, Korea, Hong Kong and Japan and will now be relocating to Singapore.
