In these types of environment, it is extremely difficult for a specific asset or item to be quickly located for usage, test drives or inventory audits or to be identified when a theft attempt is suspected.

Wavetrend’s solutions and rugged products have been specifically designed to withstand the challenges of a vast and harsh outdoor environment. It is not always practical or possible to deploy fixed RFID infrastructure, (fixed RFID readers and the necessary data/power cabling) to identify where assets are within the yard / lot / open space or to monitor their  status and condition.
