Wavetrend’s Total Visibility Platform is modular in application – available either as a stand-alone application or as middleware – and provides the tracking and management functions that enable Wavetrend’s solutions approach for visibility either on-site or for assets on the move around the globe.
The Total Visibility Platform is comprised of two key infrastructure architectures for auto-identification and data acquisition: Fixed Infrastructure or Mobile Infrastructure. They can be either deployed independently or in concert to provide the most appropriate hardware base to support the customer’s tracking and management application requirements.
Wavetrend currently has two main systems underpinning the solutions that can be delivered through the Total Visibility Platform:
- GlobalEyes: a multiple-mode global monitoring and tracking solution incorporates active RFID, GPRS, SATCOM GPS, GSM, and ZigBee wireless mesh networks and active RFID – and a web-based Information Management Bureau.
- AssetTrace: a tracking platform for monitoring and control of high-value assets and personnel in a location.
In addition to the two primary systems above, selected proven solutions and systems offered by Wavetrend’s accredited solutions partners are incorporated into the platform where needed to meet specific customer needs and requirements in key niche markets or applications.
Using its Total Visibility Platform, Wavetrend can engineer solutions that support compliance with the following standards where required:
- EPCIS (ECPGlobal’s Information Sharing Standard)
- EPC Gen2 Passive RFID hardware standard
- US DoD & Sam’s Club RFID Mandates (covering passive UHF technology)
