WAVETREND® & TRAKKER ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
(SURREY, UNITED KINGDOM – December 17, 2008) Wavetrend®,
a world leader in the deployment of active RFID solutions, today
announced the signing of a new, strategic partnership agreement with
Trakker (Pvt.) Ltd., Pakistan’s largest vehicle tracking and fleet
management service provider serving over 100,000 customers.
Driven
by challenging and complex tracking and security requirements, this
partnership leverages the world-class technology from Wavetrend and the
largest integrator of vehicle and asset protection solutions across
Pakistan and the Middle East. Through this partnership, Trakker
enhances its asset management and security solutions by incorporating
Wavetrend’s world leading Active RFID line of products and software.
Additionally, Trakker can now offer RFID as part of their fleet
management solution to existing customers, enabling not only the
performance of journey management, but also the tracking of
consignments in transit, and improving overall supply chain management.
After
evaluating numerous global positioning, communication and RFID
solutions, Trakker concluded that Wavetrend’s RFID solution provides
greater tracking precision and efficiency when compared to competitor
products. The multiple communication and tracking technologies that
comprise Wavetrend’s GlobalEyes™ provide Trakker’s customers with the
ability to customize their coverage areas to meet specific needs.
This
new agreement allows Trakker access to Wavetrend’s complete portfolio
of GlobalEyes™ and active RFID products and services, including the
company’s access control, personnel tracking and asset management
solutions.
